Good Idea or Not for a placecard?

I was thinking of doing personalized mint tins with people's names and table numbers? Anyone do this before and have a picture?

What do you think? Good idea or not?

I haven't seen it before but I was thinking of doing the same thing with round tins & customized M&Ms. I'm ordering the tins and labels this weekend so I can play around with fonts and sizing.
