Good months to be pregnant!!

My hubby and I are trying to decide which months are good to deliver in. I was thinking of a June or July baby. This way I would be off the whole summer on maternity leave. Or a November baby so, that I could be off for the holidays. I truly would like some help from the mommies out there!! Precise97

I am not a mommy, but being born in June is a cool time to have a birthday.... every 6 months you are guaranteed presents and you have two months of no school to look forward to, but you can still have a party in school too!!!
Plus, I'm sure for you it will be nice being home for the summer - and being able to go outside with the baby. JMO

Emma was born in June. It was SOOOO nice not to be huge in the hot July Aug weather! You also dont have to bundle a newborn in those months. Very nice!

The next one (hopefully) will be born in Feb/March so I can't really help you out there.

I was a June baby & so was my DH. We wanted a June baby, but it didn't work out that way!
I'll take 'an any month baby' at this point!

My baby is due at the end of May. It wasn't exactly planned that way, but now that I think of it, it is the perfect time. I am planning on taking the whole summer of from work. Actually I don't plan on going back, but that's what I'm telling them for now

My baby was born in March... I found it to be very comfortable to be preggo in winter months...I lived in sweaters and tee shirts for my frequent hot flashes! .. My sister was preggo during spring and summer for her girls... and was miserable! As far as after baby... When he was in the infant carrier I had no problem putting the Eddie Bauer cover over him nestled with blankets. For the first few months you can get away with your infant in sleepers or onesie winter outfits! Throughout Summer I was worried he was too hot!

I choose winter!

I'm a July baby (hence the name) and loved it because I had pool parties and didn't have to go to school on my birthday. As a teacher, I don't have to work on my birthday as well.

I was a June baby -- and my baby -- was born on MY birthday -- so now we celebrate togehter!! But -- growing up -- I always had great outside parties!! And it was nice after I gave birth -- because I could get out and walk -- and the sunlight made me feel better -- gets the ' baby blues away !'.

Paul was born at the beginning of May, and I have to say that I thought it was the perfect time of year to have a child...the weather is wonderful, and then you have the entire summer off. Pls, like Karen said - it's a plus not to be huge during the really hot months.

ABSOLUTELY....but, if we actually could 'control' these things, it's nice to think about which month you'd 'want' ...

Re: Good months to be pregnant!!

Dani I went through the summer preggo, and it WASNT FUN ! and I went through september also, so I know EXACTLY what its like
Winter pregnancy (my current) is not all that easy either, compared to summer. Its also because of the fact that I have a rambunctious toddler now. Lifting him and his stroller and groceries in and out of the car isnt that easy some times. Now John takes all the groceries out of the car since I buy so darn much, but as far as going out, I still go out, so JA and the stroller, and being all bundled up, is no party either... But its worth every huff and puff

Im very much an outdoorsy person and would always choose summer or spring. especially for bday parties, but I have found that out here, having a pool or even just a backyard is 'no big deal' and the kids have pool parties all summer anyway. and those that Ive met since Ive lived here, always choose parties at the 'cool' places for the moment (those craft places, mostly for school age kids)... or just have them in the house anyway. (my first choice!)

and looking back, my baby shower was in August and everyone REFUSED to even step foot out of the house, because of the horrendous heat. and JAs party, was in October, and was perfect weather (lucked out!) to have everyone outside...

I have always LOVED having my bday in August, so that month is just my personal favorite. (and I dont know if id wanna share it
kidding! I already share the month with hubby and my sis and my dad and now my brother is getting married 4 days before my bday)

OK, did I hit a tangent ???
