Good Morning Valentine!
I - jokingly - asked FH what he was getting me for Valentine's Day.
I say jokingly because when I got to Vegas on Friday Night he had slipped a card in my backpack that said 'Wishing you fun and luck' with $500 dollars in it.
His answer to my question was 'Weekend - you, bachelorette party, Vegas, fun. Me - home, 2 sick kids, not at all fun. And don't forget the $8000 check we just wrote for the catering hall for our wedding..'
I laughed. FH is RARELY intentionally romantic. I kind of like that about him though. It makes the unintentional things mean a lot.
This morning I got up at 5:30 (he leaves at 6). He had gone to Starbucks and gotten me a Cinnamon Dolce Latte and he made me a bowl of cereal (he can't cook at ALL). He had roses in a bubble bowl... not sure HOW he managed to hide that one... and a card that said 'I wish it could be more - I wanted to give you the stars.' I thought that was the BEST! Then... before he left he handed me a gift box. Inside of it he had 10 starfish shaped hair pins!!! The same ones I had pointed out in the store to him.
