Good Name For Bridesmaids In Their Teens

I have having 6 bridesmaids (which includes my sisters, who are my 2 MOH's).

FH is having 5 groomsmen.

On top of that, there are three teenagers that I would like to have as bridesmaids, but then I will have 9, with only his 5. Also, they are ages 15-18, and DH's are 39 and up, so not really comfortable with 39 year old escorting 15 year old.

I want these 3 girls as part of bridal party (2 are goddaughters, the other his niece). I would like them to wear dresses complementary to the BM dresses (maybe complementary color, or shorter, or something). They will walk down aisle, and be in some but not all of the group pictures.

Anyway, I am looking for a name to call these girls. We feel that they are too old for jr. bridesmaids, and 'bridal attendant' is too impersonal. One thought was 'brides maiden' but that is a little too Robyn Hood (you know, Maid Marion and all...).

Any thoughts?

How about Brides Assistants? Or Bridal Assistants?

This might be a little cheesy, but how about 'Ladies-in-Waiting'? I know, a little Robin Hood-ish lol But look at the definition...I think thats pretty cool. You ARE the queen on your wedding day after all

i actually think those ages are appropriate for calling them either jr. bridesmaid or even just a bridesmaid. You can have them each walk down individually and then only pair up the older people in the bridal party.

Why can't they be junior bridesmaids? They can each walk down separately at the beginning, or after the bm's and gm. I have 2 jbm's, they are 13. They will be walking down together since I only have 2. With 3 I would walk them each alone. Good luck!!!

I would think those ages could be a bridesmaid. I understand what you mean by a 39-year-old with a 15-year-old. But since they are part of a wedding party, I think people will understand.
