So I have been stressing out a little bit...We are getting married in January- but the both of us are teachers...so we cant take our honeymoon right after the wedding- we have to wait for Feb break...I was very bummed because that only gives us a week to do somthing and the weather is not the greatest everywhere...So today we were talking and we agreed on going to London/ Paris for a week!!!! SOoOOOO excited because I didnt think we could afford it- but it was surprisingly affordable!

that's awesome. i'm a teacher too and we're going to wait until summer to take our honeymoon. we're still trying to figure out where to go.

we're going to go somewhere for a couple of days during spring break, but we want to spend 2 weeks exploring somewhere else

That's great!!! I'm in the same boat as a teacher. I'm getting married over a 3 day weekend so we are probably gonna take a few extra days and go on a mini honeymoon. And then do the real thing a month or so later.

I didnt realize there were that many teachers on here! I will be in the middle of rotations, so our REAL hm will be probably a year or more later- but he will make it an amazing trip!

Fh and I are teachers too that is why we picked the middle of July - have a few weeks before and a few weeks after the wedding! It worked out perfectly

btw - paris is amazing!!! I spent two weeks in france this summer (where we got engaged) and one week was in paris

That is awesome! I am also a teacher but I really wanted a fall wedding so we are going to do a mini-staycation out east or something like that a few days after the wedding and we are thinking of going to st. lucia during christmas break for the hm (hopefully we can get a few extra days that week). We were going to do Italy but I really want to relax during the hm and if we went to Italy I would want to see everything possible.
