Good News: My Dad's cancer is confined to one spot.

Bad News: I'll be taking a break from you wonderful women as we'll probably be canceling our Maine wedding. I'm pretty sure no matter what treatments/operations/etc. my Dad will need, he won't be feeling up to traveling and sailing come July.

You have all been amazing; a wealth of knowledge, a source of endless laughter and lots of inspiration.

I'll be back here, but right now, I can't think about wedding. Just focus on getting Dad better.

Thank you soo soooo much and hope to see you soon. Congrats to all you blushing brides!!!!

I'm sorry about your Father! Def spend as much time with him as possible!! I lost my mother to cancer 3 years ago.... good luck on a speedy recovery

I'm so sorry sweetie. I know how hard is it. My dad was diagnosed with Cancer in 08' and it was the worst year for me. I got pregnant and was down the entire pregnancy so I really didn't enjoy my first pregnancy as I would like. I totally totally understand how you feel. When we got engaged, I made no plans because all that mattered was my dad and my new baby girl. It's hard but stay strong for him. Eventually my dad was the one that started talking about when are we going to get married and pushing for us to pick a date. I think sometimes thinking about the wedding and his new grand daughter helped him alot. He is ok now thank God but I def. know how it feels. FM me is you ever need to chat.

I will keep your dad in my prayers.
