Good news for me but at the expense of someone else!
So today I found out the the only associate superior to me in my group was laid off, and now I am the most senior associate, plus I am taking on her projects so I won't be slow anymore! So great news for me (I think my job is now officially secure for now), but bad because it was at the expense of someone else... all this despite the fact that in Feb. I am going to be missing for 2.5 weeks for my wedding and HM!
