YEAH! We got the call from the Property manager today saying we have our meeting with the Co-Op board next Tuesday! YEAH!!! FINALLY!!!! I'm so excited!!!

Good luck. I bought a co-op two years ago and just an FYI - they CANNOT turn you down. They will do a credit check and possibly a reference check at your job, but once the seller has agreed to sell to you, I was told by the realtor that the board cannot refuse you. So, no need to worry too much.

I think it depends on the co-op. I know someone who was turned down 3 times by a co-op board (she had childeren, and the co-op didnt' want young children in the building, i guess??) but she lost out on 3 'application fees/etc...' b/c they were non-refundable! ahhhhhhhhhhh . BUT- with ours, I do think that the seller has sole descretion, so this is probally just formailty!
