I really don't think so. You haven't really been friends for 10 years, thats a very long time and theres obviously a reason you two haven't been friends for so long. I find it very weird for her to say she was hurt you didn't invite her out for your engagement if you two haven't hung out and she would purposely not come out if you were there.
To me it sounds like she just wants to go to your wedding. For some reason when a bunch of friends are attending a wedding, and one person is not they feel left out. It's weird to me how people get like this.
I say do not invite her. I dont see any reason at all why you should and i dont think anyone should even expect you to.

ITA with Denise, I wouldnt invite her. I think she hit it on the nose, all her friends (or most) will be invited and its the want to be part of it too. I dont think there is any reason that you should and you shouldnt feel guilty. You arent friends, you are aquaintances and that does not warrant an invite to a wedding. JMO thats a place for people close to you, who care about you and DH.

you feel guilty bc she knows how to make you feel guilty. She just wants to go to a wedding that everyone else is going to. You have so many other things to worry about and this shouldn't even be a concern. You are 110% right

ITA again with denise, I would just tell her Im sorry but we couldnt pull it. Guest list was done and we decided on not changing it. I understand how you can feel guilty, she wanted you to-but dont let her get the best of you. If you are in the situation again just tell her how you feel. She has to know you arent as close as you were.

ITA with Denise. your wedding is a day to spend with close friends and family. not with someone you hadnt spoken with in 10 years.
its very fishy that all of a sudden she wants to be BFFs. lol
