I am new to this site. I need to find a new , good OB/GYN in the Nassau /Western Suffolk county areas. I have 1 daughter already, and eventually thinking of having another one. I am looking for a dr. with good bedside manner, and good hospital affilations. HELP!!!!

I go to Dr. Hilsrenrath.. she is in Hewlett... She is affiliated with North Shore University Hosp. in Manhasset.. great bed side manner.. My sister went to her when she was having problems.

My OB/GYN is the absolute best! His name is Ira Berliner and his number is 516-741-1172. He is located in Garden City.

My Doc is Seth Plancher in Garden City. Amazing person!! I would not recommend his partner Dr. Sherwin he is not nice! And Melanie the mid wife is the sweetest woman. (516) 222-1033.

I second Dr. Ira Berliner....he is wonderful! Also, Michael Mesbah in Garden City, 794-1500. He used to be partners with Dr. Berliner but for financial reasons opened his own practice. They both have super bedside manner!

cw0904 - Dr. Plancher is my OB too...unfortunately Dr. Sherwin delivered Lukie. Actually he was fine...or I didn't care b/c I was having a baby Dr. Plancher is the best.
LOL Everyone feels that way about Dr. Sherwin, I chatted with lots of other Moms to be in the waiting room

I go to Georgia Van Nook...in Massapequa park...shes a NP...but IMO thats just as good as an MD...and she spends more time with me...also a little easier to get an appointment
there is also an MD there...but I like Georgia...
they are on Sunrise and Hicksville Road...I want to say 3700 Sunrise...but I'll look it up if you are interested

OMG Heather I see her too!!!!! She is the best!!!! Because of my whole low-lying placenta thing I have been seeing Dr. Weiss, I guess since he is the high risk Dr. I'm going back again today for another sonogram How funny

Dr. Bervine did and she was AWESOME!!!! To the point her and Nick were having a conversation about her shoes as I was pushing! She makes you feel so at ease.
HEres a tip - make sure you send her pictures at Christmas - otherwise she will yell at you on your next visit!
If you see her today - please tell her I said Hi and I will be making an appointment soon - to discuss things

I love my OBGYN she is in the same practice as Marcellabellas Dr. Mine is Betsy Lantner and she is affliated w/ many top hospitals and also in Brooklyn and Hewlett you can fm me if you want her info

I also see Dr. Bervine from the bethpage OBGYN. She is awesome. She deliverd Kayla for me on her day off at 2 in the morning, she is so great.
