what about Pompeii in W. Hempstead?? we had my sisters shower there and they were great.....I think W. Hemp. is next to Malverne (I'm a Queens girl so I'm clueless!)

I agree with Pompei. Its West Hempstead, right next to Malverne.
Rockville Centre has a bunch of restaurants and is near Malverne.

yes i beleive my FH's parents took us there after our precana graduation ceremony! the food was yummy! Thanks for the suggestion!

Connolly Station in Malverne has good food... it's a pub/restaurant though so if if you want a casual feel and not a fancy one, this place would be good.
RVC is close and there is done of options there.

Sorry to crash ladies :) But I would definitely check out the Broadway Beanery in Lynbrook. I know they do larger parties and the inside is beautiful, and its 2 minutes from Malverne. The food is delicious too!!

Also, another place to look might be the Brick Cafe (Im not sure if this is what it's called still). Its about three blocks from Malverne High School. A friend had her parents anniversary dinner there and it was really good.

Seventh Street Cafe (Garden City) isn't too far from Malverne.
And, yes, Helen, Malverne is next to W. Hemp!

Hey girl! I know that area like the back of my hand. I had my RD at Frank's Steaks on Lincoln Ave. in RVC. Take ocean to merrick, make a lt, follow signs to Franks and it's right there. It was the best dinner I ever ate. The food there is 5 star and they are famous for thier skirt steak.
Look into it and if you decide to then ask for Maury and tell him that Nicole DiBona (Smith) refered you.

Gibsons Steak House off Atlantic Ave in Lynbrook is great.. had my shower there..
We had our rehearsal at Broadway Cafe in Hewlett on Broadway.. really nice as well
