I went to my ob last week for my initial visit and had my 1 million vials of blood drawn and everything looks great-my hcg levels have been doubling and even tripling so it's looks like a good solid pregnancy. I go to hear the heartbeat on Monday-I am so excited. My parents are ecstatic to become grandparents and my dad calls every day to check in on me and has even went out and bought 2 little onsies already He is too cute. I am just praying for a safe and healthy rest of my pregnancy

I am so excited for you. I am due 2 weeks before you and I have not even gotten to have my first visit yet. I go on 1/15 and I will be 9 weeks that day. I hope to hear the heartbeat then. I do not know when the first sono will be scheduled.

Re: Good progress so far
I just wanted to I wish you all the luck with your pregnancy. I just started posting on these boards thanks to my sil Jen_n_dale. I am eight weeks pregnant and I've already had two sonograms. One was at six weeks. They saw something that they wanted to check so I had another one at seven weeks. It was nerve racking, but it is soooo amazing to see the heartbeat. At seven weeks it even looks like a baby!!! Luckily what they wanted to check shrunk in size, but they still want to keep an eye on it so I am scheduled for another sonogram in two weeks. Best of luck to you!

Dani - that's wonderful. I remember seeing the heartbeat during my first sono at 6 weeks, then seeing and hearing it again at 9 weeks. I am going for my Level 2 this coming week, so I am excited to see him/her again!
Best of luck to you.
