Good Restaurant Recommendations??!!!

Ok...so my mom's 50th birthday and my 23rd birthday is Oct 13th and 14th and we are doing a combined dinner (like usual) probably on the 11th or 13th and I am looking for reccommendations to a really great restaurant!!! It is my mom's 50th so I would like it to be a nice place where we could actually dress up a little. Don't care if it is in Nassau or Suffolk. Just not the city I don't think my dad wants to travel that far.


Oh and if you can recommend any good restaurants to hit up near the wineries out east. My sisters and I are taking my mom there as our bday present the next weekend after our bdays!!!

If you go out wine tasting, you can try Claudio's in Greenport.

i've never been but have heard great things.

What kind of food were you thinking?

I love Milleridge Inn (part of the reason why we booked Milleridge Cottage )

My fave - and where we are having our rd - is FH Riley's in Huntington.

Other good ones:

- Melting Pot (never been but have heard!)
- Mac's Steakhouse, Huntington (delicious but expensive)
- Hemingways, Wantagh
- Mill Pond, Centerport (also a little pricey but soooo good)
