Re: good shoe places in commack
the only shoe place over there that I can think of is craft shoes on jericho...
It's a family run place that has not a huge selection, but a rather unique selection...

I thought they had a lot of dyeable-style shoes to choose from. They are very friendly, but rather slow

I got my shoes from Craft, my mom did too. The selection was good, service was nice, and the price was reasonable. I recommend stopping by!!

i also recommend craft shoes. i've had some sketchy experiences with the staff, but the selection and prices were good.

As everyone has already mentioned . . . Craft Shoes on Jericho Tpke. Beware of the owner - little old man looks to be about 100 years old - not friendly at all. Ethel on the other hand is an absolute gem!!!

yeah, ethel was sweet to me my first time. we tried to have her help my MIL, but she refused because it wasn't her 'turn' and i guess they work on commision, so the 100 year old man helped her. she HATED that experience...he had many bandaids on him, one fell off and was stuck to my MIL's foot! it was so gross. he tried to force her to buy a pair of shoes she said more than once she didnt want, he even started writing up the sales slip. i told him again she was not purchasing the shoes, he got mad and crumpled up the sales slip and threw it on the floor. its was so bad it was comical. other than that, i really had no problems with buying my shoes and all of my BMs shoes and had them dyed there.

Craft Shoes is really good! Theres also DWS on Jericho, it's right where Jericho and Deer Park Ave. split.
