Good store to buy summer dresses, sleeveless tops?

I neeeed some summer clothes. I have one pair of shorts that fit me (make that two, I bought a pair last weekend) and I need cute tops, cotton summer dresses, and sleeveless tops to get color on my shoulders, etc for the wedding. I am going away this weekend with my mom and sister and 1 yr old niece - anyone know of any place I could get some of this stuff at? Not online because I want some new stuff for the weekend, and please not too expensive

You can always try old navy....i got a few cotton dresses there last week. lots of stores were having big sales last week when I went to the mall, I would suggest just go and see what you find!

I love NY & Co. they have cute clothes plus they always have great coupons out!!

I went to the mall and searched macys for 2 hours, and nothing fit right that I tried on. They had hardly anything in small, either -- allllll extra larges. And I went to Old Navy, didn't see anything but maybe I will go back. I tried on a few things and everything was made soooo poorly that it fit like crap and I was fed up. But, maybe I was in a bad mood - you know what shopping is like when you really aren't in the mood to look through stuff ...

I don't think there is one by me ... but I will check, thanks. I have a limited amount of time to shop this week so I can't really make it out of the huntington area.

I just went looking for similar things and a lot of the stores are having excellent summer sales, but everyone's stock is low. A lot of places are bringing out their fall stuff already. So, I'm no help, but I feel your pain. I ended up picking up a couple of things at H&M, old navy and target (I hate spending lots of money on summer clothes)

I know you said no online but Aeropostale had some great little summer dresses that I just bought and they look great. American Eagle might have stuff too? Then there's Kohls that might have basic sleeveless tops you're looking for.

forever 21 has been carrying some cute stuff lately also try express they have been having a good summer sale most stores are trying to get there summer garments out already

if there is a charolette russe by you too they rock
and steve & barrys!

you can tell i shop that is all i do on my lunch breaks now (mainly window shop)

banana republic sometimes has a few cute summer dresses.

Express you probably can find something, and nice tops and stuff for the summer...many times they have sales too, also ask your friends if they have express coupons...i always get them at home and you get like $20 off or sometimes other deals like buy one get one free.

Maybe try H&M, i never have luck with them...in barcelona though when i went to h&m they had alot of great things for summer so im guessing they have similar things here, alot of nice summer stuff. I only go to the H&M here at queens mall or roosevelt field mall and he said the reason why i dont like it is bc they have less things and the one in the city has alot of good stuff...hopefully an H&M by you has nice things.

Definitely try Express---they have a sale in progress.

Also try the Gap.

Old Navy is good but their product does not last more than one season. Gap onsale is the same. The idea someone else posted for NY & Co is always good and not too expensive.

There is one of these across the street from me - and since work is slow I think I am going to take a half hour and look there now!

And hopefully I can hit old navy tomorrow at lunch, and the gap fri before i go away. the rest of my time is unfortunately consumed with working, cooking (have a nice dinner planned for tonight) or going to the gym.
