Good thing I have some patience...

My puppy ALWAYS pees in her crate. The door won't even be closed. I put her freshly cleaned bed into her crate and she goes right in and pees. Could it be marking her territory or just plain puppyness? It's driving me nuts. How do you stop them from doing that? Is there a way?

And tonight, she jumped the baby gate again... meanwhile we put a huge picture box in front of the gate (just leaning with a chair against it). She's a maniac. She's going to kill herself. I guess I just have to get an extra tall gate.

Sorry I dont have any advice about the peeing your puppy is doing but I can totally understand how you feel with your escape artist. When we first got Lucy, we would put up baby gates to keep her in the Kitchen! when she got over the baby gates we attached a foot of wood on top of the gates and would put objects in front of them. One night we go out and I forget soemthing, I go back inside and there is my 14 week old puppy standing on top of the microwave cart. She would get a running start and throw her body at the gate and hurl herself over! She got so good at it that she would go back and forth as she pleased. We gave up on that very quickly we were afraid to come home to a puppy with a broken leg or something! SO we accepted defeat and let her have run of the kitchen, dining room and living room (all have wood or tile floors)

Good Luck!
