Good thing mortgage brokers know what I should do...vent..vent....vent

please ALL say 'I told you so' because I have been saying it all night long and even woke up saying it. I am sure I said it in my sleep as well.

Why did I open my big mouth and even mention the external version to my parents? Perhaps it is my lack of choclate in recent weeks that has put me into a state of insanity? It is possible.

How truly dumb of me NOT to just go to the mortgage company for my medical opinions. Why do I even bother seeing doctors? Everyone my stepmom works with is now an expert on the risks and beneftis of a turn vs. scheduled c-section and they like nothing more than to share their opinions openly all day long. First off, let's upset her by telling her the friend of the dog groomer's sisters who had a near death experience type situation (okay, I am making a bit of that up, but you get my point). Now let's all share how the c-section is a routine procedure that has no real risks and how that is really what I should if the baby stays breech. I mean, why bother to KNOW my medical history or how I feel about MAJOR SURGERY or a needle in my spine...because really, what is wrong with me for NOT wanting a nice, planned c-section?

I mean, recovery is nothing more than
and a few advils and poof in a day or two you are feeling just like new. Heck, one of the girls in the office was walking around perfectly fine the next day.

I said, 'Please do not discuss my medical situations with the people you work with.'
'Honey, I only asked a few girls who I knew had been in this situation to get their opinions. And one of the girl's sisters is an OB so I wanted to know what she thought'
So, then you DID discuss my medical stuff with people that you work with and that I don't know...and now let's add a doctor who KNOWS ZERO about me and let's take her opinions over the doctors who I have personally discussed this with and the people that I trust!

So now, I told Scott that NO..repeat..NO family is to know about this or what our decision is. If I go for the turn, we go alone, without them knowing about it. I cannot take what others think or want into consideration when this has NOTHING to do with these people.....

And now, I beg you all...next time I post anything about this pregnancy please remind me to KEEP MY MOUTH SHUT to family!!!! Will I ever learn.....ever?

KEEP MY MOUTH SHUT to family

Michele, this is NOT your fault that you shared stuff with your family & they go and run and open their mouths. I can't stand when people do this and I told John the same thing (about other situations of course).

People can be so annoying, but just think, you are almost there Michele!!!

Soon all this will be over and you will be holding your gorgeous, healthy child in your arms.

Just know next time & from now on, KEEP QUIET!! to family!

Sorry you're going through this. But you're right, the more people who know the more unsolicited advice you will receive. Still, it isn't your fault! This is a trying time in your life and you should feel comfortable to share it (in confidence) with those close to you.

By the way, I love the smilies!!

People always feel need ot offer unsolicited advise. Don't let this upset you. You do what you have to do for you.

to you.
No we never do learn. Its only natural to want to share with those nearest and dearest to us - its tought to turn that off. Sorry for the extra headache you dont need that right now.

So not your fault Michele.

This is a wonderful exciting time in your life, so you are going to be inclined to want to share it with those closest to you. Unfortunately these people have no discretion whatsoever.

I am sorry about this.

I'm sorry Michele. Everyone always feels the need to discuss what you are going through with others. Just remember that they are doing this because they love you and they are trying to help. I know they are only making you crazy but in their eyes, they are doing the right thing. I agree that you are better off not bringing any of these things up anymore.
They will only keep on telling you what their dr thinks or someone elses that they know.

to you Michele.

Even thought I did have a section, before I had it (as you know with the GD it is always an option in case baby is too big) I found that other people who had sections were really, really pro-section. I was like hello I DON'T WANT ONE!!!! In the end I'm glad that I had one because of what could of happened to Damien (the cord was around his neck) but I see no reason why you wouldn't try everything before having to have surgery. You do forget all about the pain after and you have the baby in your arms, but it is by no means a cakewalk. You will be fine and tell other people to stick a sock in it!!!

I'm sorry you have to deal with this when you are so close and stressed out already.

I dread this myself, as I LIVE with my in-laws, so I can ONLY imagine what will be said to me.

You and Scott will make the right decision for YOU and YOUR baby. Good luck, and you and baby are in my prayers for a safe delivery.

Awww Michele...

Relax and don't worry to much. People ALWAYS have to offer their advice! Everyone knows someone...etc. @@ (rolling eyes, why don't we have this icon?)

In the end its your decision! You do whats right for you!!
