Good Thrift Stores on LI?

HI Everyone,

I am going next weekend to the Awesome 80s Prom for a bachelorette party and can't find anything to wear.

Does anyone know of any good thrift/vintage stores where I might possibly find something?

WHen are you going? Fri. or Sat? I'm going Saturday. I'm going to the thrift shop in Port Jeff Station sometime this week. There's also a large salvation army store in Centereach/Selden that I might check out. When all else fails, throw on a denim skirt and my rainbow brite t-shirt. :)

there is a place on hempstead turnpike in hempstead called Savers. they're a huge thrift shop. you can also check local churches. St VIncent de Paul is another one and they have a few locations on the island. good luck and enjoy your party!

i agree. my bro lived right there and moved 2 years ago. i think they were going out then! Levittown one closed about that time too.
