Good White Wine Sangria Recipe?

Does anyone have a good recipe for sangria using a semi-sweet white wine? We have a ton of Pugliese Chardonnay Gold left over from the wedding, so I thought this would be a fun way to use it Thanks!

I bottle of wine
Lemons, limes, and oranges
peaches and apples.
Cointreau and Brandy
7 up or gingerale

Pour the wine in a pitcher, squeeze juices of the citrus and toss the wedges into the pitcher. Add cointreau and brandy. Add cut up apples and peaches. Let sit in the fridge 8 hours or overnight. Add ice cubes and soda before serving.

Keep in mind that with a sweet white you will not need sugar or orange juice.

Bumping for advice...

Does anyone know if ginger ale or club soda is better for red sangria? Making some for my bach party this weekend so I'm just wondering.

TIA

ginger ale MIGHT work if you are soaking fruit in spiced brandy or rum....

for a red, I usually use Sprite. it gives it a slightly sweater taste. sometimes I do half club soda/half sprite...it depends on the wine I am using, and how it tastes.
