Got a Call

from the band Paris and the B*tch I mean bride from New Jersey sent her deposit.

So Paris will not be my wedding band. Going Tuesday and Thursday to check out 3 other bands. I will keep you updated

Sorry girly ur plans didn't work out.... have u checked out code bleu?...were using them and their so good...their havin a showcase tomorrow night..check them out..

I can't go tomorrow night because FH won't miss his pick-up basketball game for wedding stuff. I have him going late to darts on Thursday night already this week.

I have to be nice and not bridezilla

Okay so my mom is going with me to see Code Bleu tomorrow night. I am bringing my flip camera with me to tape some of the show for my fh.

Keeping my fingers crossed for a crazy week of wedding bands. LOL

If it makes you feel any better I saw paris at a wedding and while they were pretty good, they totally brought on the cheese factor (this could have been the B&G's choice though)

since when do you want a band i thought you were looking at DJ's. We saw an awesome band at Russo's called Project but they are pretty expensive. not sure what your budget is.

we saw the band first then the dj and the band engery blew the dj out of the water.

As for price it will double our entertainment budget but it will be so worth it.

I decided to see only 3 this week as to not go into overload.

I will keep you all updated.

You should definitely book Code Bleu! Not sure if you were at the showcase at Westbury Manor this week, but they were absolutely amazing. My FH is a musician so we've seen 10+ bands b/c he's so picky and in his opinion Code Bleu was the absolute best! If you didn't make it to the showcase, you should definitely call and ask them to send you a DVD.

We also saw Body Heat last night at Chateau Briand. They were a close second, but not as good as Code Bleu, hands down. And I negotiated a little bit with them for price b/c they were out of my budget, but they were able to accomodate me ultimately.

I did not go on Monday because I had a meeting at work and was lazy when I got home.

Someone from my job used them this past May and I keep asking her to bring me their DVD. I will check them out if my other two tomorrow night don't meet my expectations.
