Got a lot accomplished this weekend

We finally bought our wedding bands, a channel diamond ring for me and a simple gold band for FI.

We met with the priest, or I think he was the priest. The meeting was so fast I think I got whiplash. In and out in 15 minutes...

Wrapped all our favors. Ceramic christmas ornaments with Irish theme (harp, claudaugh, St Brigid cross, shamrock). All in gold boxes and tied with a bordeux bow that matches BM gowns with a tag thanking people. All 100 are done. Yippee!! It took all sunday afternoon but they came out better than I expected.

Ordered matches for our tables..soemthing a bit extra.

Got a few more RSVPs - but they were like my wife is pregnant but I want to come to your wedding. So put me down as a yes and I will call you a few days before. What ?
Of course these are FI's friends and I cant seem to explain that their answers are not good enough. We need a YES or a NO. Maybe he will get it when it comes time to write out the check for the reception - do we include them in the head count or not? An extra $75 per head.....

Oh well, still a very productive weekend. Plus we finished painting our apartment.

We are running into the same problem - where people RSVP for 2 and then call and say one mine not come bc he may be away - we'll let you know when we can! How annoying! If they can't tell me know, they should just say no!
