Got a lot done this weekend!
Got a last minute good price flight so my parents wanted me to come in and do some last minute planning.
I picked out new invitations - they are going to be custom made by Julie Holcomb Printers She is an artist who works in Letterpress - who has been featured many times in Martha Stewart and other bridal magazines. They are based on a design by Claudia Calhoun.
I had them put thru my dress order, I ordered my veil thru Priscilla of Boston - the Cathedral, blusher and fingertip veil was much cheaper than many other places I looked (the only ones I found for less -where the very itchy ones) their quality was great.
I went to Mary's Corsettiers and ordered my invisible seam corset! - They are SO nice to work with there!
I bought my wedding jewlery
Picked out my BM jewlery (and gifts). Will be ordering them soon.
I went to Adriannes and tried to find out what was happening with my BM shawls since they never return my phone calls (they say they will be this Friday so I have my fingers crossed!)
I am doing an art theme (will be using post cards as my seating cards and tables numbers will be replaced with a post card of the painting for guests to match up)
And I bought my Favors they are ordered and should be in soon:
I am giving out large art magnets to each guest -(I think they are about 3 x 5) They have a cute frame so they look like a small framed painting. I am getting them from the Metropolitan Art Museum.
They women there is going to either give me these nice small gold Met bags with tissue paper or small gold envelopes with gold sticker to put them in (looks much nicer than it sounds.
