but i am also uncle sam's favorite niece - so he would take 1/2 from me as well!

I'm pretty sure bonus' are taxed at a higher rate.

Mine was taxed but not too badly at least...and mind you I claim 0

i hear ya... i don't get a bonus... but we get $1000 uniform allowance once a year (because we have to buy our own uniforms... though NO ONE uses the money for uniforms, i've been wearing the same ones for 3 years and i will wear them til they fall off, lol) and my $1000 was really only about $550 after taxes
