Got My Dress and We BOOKED!!!!!

Well, some of you heard that I thought I found my dress last week at David's Bridal.... WRONG!!!!!!

I went to Bridal Reflections and they were having a James Clifford trunk show. (James Clifford is Jim Hjelm btw) I was trying on basically Marisa and James Clifford gowns. Well, the woman who was repping James Clifford said you have to try on this dress... She gave me the dress and let me tell you- I KNEW!!! I knew this was it!!!!!! So, my Mother and Sister LOVED it and we all agreed. The cool thing is this dress isn't in any magazines yet and I am the first person to purchase it. The rep from James Clifford called the designer to tell him he made a sale- he is sending me an autographed look book!!!!! How cool is that???? I ordered it and should have my dress in about 6 months.

So, after finding my dress, we went to North Ritz and booked. I am a NR bride!!!! WooHoo! I am so happy I am finally getting this done. Now the next thing is finding the perfect bridesmaid dress.

And yay for NRC! That's funny, I was just thinking there weren't any 09ers booking NRC recently -- yay! (I'm a NRC bride too)

Thanks! My dress is alancon (SP) lace overlay (silk satin underneath the lace) with swarovksi beading all over the dress. The dress has an EXTRA long train and it's strapless. It's kinda like a mermaid shaped- very beautiful and timeless. I want to wear it right now! LOL.

North Ritz is amazing. My sister got married there 5 years ago (That was mine and FH's first date!) So, it's kind of like a good luck charm to me. A lot of people don't really know about NRC but they should check it out!

Congrats!!!! I heard it is really nice there. I love the James Clifford collection but, he was out of my price range. I love the dress!!!
