Got My Dress - with reviews
So i just wanted to share my shopping exerience if it helps anyone:
Had to shop on a sunday so made appoints with Macys (Smithhaven mall) and Davids Bridal (Lake Grove)
Macys - wasnt expecting much - checked out all the dresses on Demetrios site and didnt see much of anything i liked but figured id go anyway since they were having a trunk show. The saleswoman, Lilly, was very helpful - as soon as i explained what i was looking for she went straight to the racks pulling out as many as she could find. I loved (loved loved) the 2nd one i tried on - pretty much hated everything else. So i kept it in mind and went on to:
Davids Bridals - was suprised to learn that they actually stock the dresses so most dont have to be ordered. My salewoman, Christine, was very nice. Unfortunatley the whole store only had 1 dress that met my criteria (mostly b/c i wanted tank-top style - not strapless). So anyway - i did like the dress and it was only $400 but it was very heavy and the train was long and since ive been a bride before and know i didnt want that i decided to go back to Macys and order the dress.
Since the trunk show was ending that day i figured i might was well get the dress i love and save 15% off.
