I got my tiara in the mail from ebay today...I was so excited, but it is really not great quality, especially considering it wasn't that cheap. The body of it is almost plastic-like, like a kid dress up tiara. It said it has real Swarovski crystals on it, but I can't even tell that they aren't plastic...I don't know, I can't notice a huge difference in pictures...

I think it was Eden Jewelers? They had all positive feedback...It's so hard to tell on ebay though! Now I am nervous about getting a veil online...

What kind of veil do you want? I was talking to Tara about one I bought that I don't want anymore and she said to ask you if you want it! It is ivory with a ribbon edge.

Haha Tara and I went veil shopping. We went to TWC and Patchogue Floral. I don't know what I want, which is part of the problem. What length is the veil? Is it nice? I don't know if I want diamond white or ivory. We were at the wedding center and I tried on some ivory that looked almost yellowish. Was that one your ebay one? Why don't you like it? Hold on, I will post a pic of the tiara to get your opinion on it!

OK, my picture is huge, but you can see the tiara. It also has the jewelry I think I am going to wear--one of my work friends gave me a Swarovski crystal necklace and earrings to wear as my borrowed item!

Did you email the seller? Maybe they will take it back and refund the money. Also if the item was not as advertised and doesn't have real swaroski crystal you can file a fraud complaint. I have had 2 problems in the past in my 5 years using ebay and both times I mentioned filing a fraud complaint I had the money back within a day or two. Also if you paid via paypal you have automatic buyer protection program. FM me if you want more info. Sorry the tiara was not as you were hoping.

How can you tell if the crystals are real Swarovski? It was advertised not as a Swarovski tiara, but as one with the crystals.

Maybe bring it to the Swaovski store and compare in person. Have a salesperson look at it.

I got both my veil and tiara on ebay and was very satisfied. But both cost me about $22 each. If you paid a lot of money for them, I would be upset too. I don't remember if it was advertised to have swarovski crystals though.

I'm sorry that happened to you! I got a tiara from ebay and also was not very happy with it...it is still sitting in the box...

It doesn't look cheap to me, but what matters is your opinion. How did you pay? If you used paypal you can try to contest the product and you should contact the seller and ebay if you don't feel that it is what you were lead to believe you were buying. They are usually pretty good about looking in to stuff like that. Good Luck!

I think it looks good. I also bought mine from E bay and when I first got it was upset that it looked cheap and then all my mom's keep telling me it looked fantastic.

I bought 2 tiaras from Eden Jewels and they are both gorgeous. I am having a hard time deciding which to wear.
If that is who you bought it through they were very easy to communicate with and let me postpone paying for the first one I won and then ship the 2 togethr to save on shipping. I'm sure they'll work with you.

Yup, it was definitely Eden Jewels. They did send it very quickly. I don't know, maybe I am being too picky, but the body of it is plastic-like. I think it looks OK in pics though....
