And it was fabulous! I have movie-star eyebrows now, LOL! I love it!!!
In case anyone wants to know, I went to Sana Beauty Salon in Hicksville. A few moments of pain, and $7 ($5 plus $2 for tip) later, and I was looking gorgeous my dahlinks!

I am doing it for the first time next week, a few days before my wedding...I am a bit nervous, but I have been growing my eyebrows out for a long time and I can't wait to see how they look.... I am glad to hear that you had a great experience!!

It is great isn't it???? I never had mine waxed or anything so I didn't have anything to compare it too but it was so easy and they looked awesome that I would never try anything else now!!!!

i have had them done 2 times now and it definetely hurts but its so worth it. i now go to pooja in levittown. 5 bucks, quick and gorgeous eyebrows. i never had good eyebrows before. they looked great in the wedding photos too!!

threading is the best, i would never go back to waxing. i go in the city on 24th st & 6th ave - only $6 and never had a bad experience (knock on wood). i highly recommend it to everyone!

I loved it, however I did have a bad experience once. Make sure you communicate with them properly.. since some of them dont understand english too well.
The place in Hicksville like butchered my brows when I said to clean them up a bit, I had grown my brows in for montthhhss.. then I had 2 thin lines! I was mortified..
I'd consider doing it again. It's been years tho

ok, so I'm completely inexperienced with this sort of thing...I've never had my brows waxed or anything. yes, i'm chicken.
what does one need to do to prep for threading (or waxing for that matter)?
