via a facebook message! the message was very sincere and thoughtful. and i'm not really upset cause we didn't give our final count and i didnt print up the escort cards yet. but i guess facebook is the way to communicate these days!

so long as it wasn't on your wall, I think it's somewhat okay. Not really the etiquette you hope for surrounding your wedding, but better than a no show....

We had some people verbally RSVP which was fine...but I wanted everyone to rsvp on the cards i sent them...so DH busted everyones chops saying 'dont waste my stamp, send us the rsvp' lol

oh that's how i felt too and we got all the rsvp's back except for like 2 and we had FMIL call them. but this was a cancellation after they already rsvp'd yes.

im not completely opposed to cancelling via fb... unless its someone that i talk to on a regular basis over the phone... which is only my mom and sister, now that i think about it... its just another form of communication
