Got my first response back and.....

It was sent back blank......thank God I numbered the back of the cards.

lol, it was a yes.

They were cousin's of John's, FMIL called them and they asked how I knew it was them.

WOOHOO...Congrats on the first response (I sound like an ad for a pregnancy test...hehe)...it's so exciting!!!

Good thinking numbering the cards! I started doing it but I ran out of patients and quit! I wish I did it...I've already gotten some strange ones that took me some time to figure out.

I got them all but people who I knew were coming mail them back now

why bother? they told me on th ephone weeks ago they were coming!

others you have to pull teeth to get their responses,
I must say this was the worst part of wedding planning (for me)

I'm really worried about that. I think that it is so inconsiderate when guests don't respond...don't they realize the stress involved???

FMIL 3 sisters are notorius for not responding and then showing up. They did it at my E-Party, so I sat them in the back next to the DJ's speaker. 1 showed up for the shower and the other 2 never responded, I told John let them pull this s#it at the wedding, they will not be allowed in. If I have to hire a bouncer to stand guard with the guest list I will just for these 3 numskulls
