Got my marriage certificate finally!
So after all my moaning and groaning, I rushed over to Borough Hall today in Brooklyn to try to get a copy of my marriage certificate, and it turns out that they mailed it out to our NC address YESTERDAY! I purchased a second copy on the spot, and took it over to the SS office in Melville and got my SS Card changed!
I still have a ton left to do, but I feel like it's official now. I told DH that the gov't now knows me by his last name, and he was so happy.![]()
Just wanted to give you guys an update! So 7/18 wedding meant 8/12 mailed out marriage certificate. Not too too bad, but I'm still jealous of you gals who had yours at home when you returned from your HM.![]()
