i got my marriage license thursday and i am glad i did it took two hours maybe because i went to the queens location for my license if anyone is planning on getting maried at the end of may get the license asap its good for sixty days

we went to the Manhasset one on Thursday... no wait. we were the only ones there.
I've heard bad things about the Queens location, meanwhile FH's receptionist said to go there. ??? like she goes there all the time???

I went to the Queens location this past Friday and we were there for about 1 1/2. Urghhhh!!!!!!! We had to wait on line forever.

We went to Smithtown and it took ten minutes tops!! We did get there early & had to wait for them to open.

You will need 2 forms of ID (passport & driver's license is sufficient) and if you have been married before you will need a certified copy of the divorce decree. And of course the $40 fee.
