Got my memory vase in today!

Got my memory vase in today!

FH and I have quite a few people who have passed that we would like to remember on our big day, so we decided to get a dozen roses and use this vase. I ordered it online from Daisy Days. I am still waiting for the memory candle which we had engraved with FH's father's name on it.

Daisy Days

ETA: The vase reads 'In Loving Memory these flowers bloom as a symbol of a life and love remembered.'

No problem! Its sad to say, but between FH and I we have lost a parent, uncle, cousins, grandparents, etc. and we just didnt want to leave anyone out. We were thinking of displaying their pictures, but that would have been too sad. For his father, we are putting the memory cylinder vase for just him. I am not sure if we will display his picture or not.

Here is the cylinder we got. I will let you know how it looks once we get it...

That is really nice!!! Please do let me know how it comes out! I am torn as well because I would also like to put a picture of my stepfather out but being that we lost him only 3 weeks ago I don't know if it would be too sad to see it there.. I will definitely do a candle though.

It's so sweet. A good way to remember your loved ones and make them a part of your special day.

I think putting a pic of your step father would be nice! We just didnt want like 10 pics of relatives who passed away all over a table... it would have been too hard for us. We are going to have pics of our parents wedding pic and our grandparents wedding pics displayed and some of them are no longer with us but seeing them on their wedding day, the happiest day of their lives, wont be too sad for us.

It's very very nice.

I sorry for your loss though.

But the vase is very nice. I never saw that before.

What a great idea. FH lost his father also and in the past year 1/2 we both have lost a grandparent. Thanks for posting this, I wanted to do something for them, just couldn't decide on what!
