Wow! We are on a roll. We went to Sugarplum today in Lynbrook and found my Mom's dress. It was originally $550 and on the $99 clearance rack. It fits her perfectly. It has straps but she has the satin wrap tied around her for some extra arm coverage. Sugarplum really had a nice selection of gowns for Mom and special occasions. Only the bottom has to be taken up. We are sooo excited. We have been looking for months since we are both so picky. It was luck. Look how cute my Mom is.

It looks great on her! I just threw out a postcard I had for sugar plum. I guess its worth th etrip out there. Your mom's dress is very pretty... and you can't beat that price!

I had no idea how expensive MOB dresses were until we started looking. Some can go up to $600 or more. I was shocked. They had a clearance rack there with sizes from 2-24. I am taking my grandmother hopefully sometime this week.

Thanks! Yes my Mom said she felt like a princess. I was all teary looking at her in it. My Mom is such an awesome person so I am so glad to have found something so beautiful for her to wear.

They also had a few of this dress on the $99 rack. The one she tried on was dark gray and we wanted a black dress. This one was originally over $600. They had it in plum, gray and a bluish color.
