Got my mom's gift last night! You girls would be proud of me!
We went to the Garden State Plaza mall. We went to one of the jewelry stores (it's independently owned and not part of a chain)
There was a BEAUTIFUL pendant that I liked for my mom, but it was tagged $1,000![]()
So, he was willing to take 60% off if I bought something else. But, I didn't like anything else. So, we were going back and forth. Finally, I said, I HAVE TO GO BUY SHOES. I'll give you $300 for it right now, but I have to go.
He said, '$350 including tax'
I said, '$320 including tax'
He said, 'You are squeezing me. No! You are killing me.'
So, I said, 'okay- do you want the $300?'
He said, 'okay, $330 including tax'
So, I bought it and ran! I got a great deal. The pendent has .75 carat total weight of diamond! And, it's excellent quality!
