got my passport!!!!

and it only took 3 weeks!!!!! now i can go on my honeymoon......yippie!!!

That's an incredible turn around time! I am sooo glad we decided to go to Alaska .. for one thing, I don't have to deal with passports!!!! (At least NOW. I can get it after the wedding so I have it.)

i know, i just read that other post about how last year they took 3 months. great how you can change your name for free for up to one year!!!

call the post office to make an appointment....i suggest going during the week, the earlier the better. appointments start at 11am - 4pm. you can even stop in prior to get the paperwork so you're all set when you arrive. you need a license and original birth certificate.

nope! they told me it would take about 2 months and since i have plenty of time, i said fine! glad i didn't pay the extra fee!
