Got my Raw Footage back yesterday

And my dress was bustled wrong

I knew it wasnt done right, and in the video it really shows, one side is completely drooped and on the floor. and its not even.

I just ran upstairs and took my dress out of the garment bag and i checked the bustled, and the ties were labeled from zero to 11

And zero and one were tied together, and then 1 and 2 were tied together and it just looks so bad in the video.

I just spent so much money on that damn bustle and to think it just wasnt tied right.

I just retied it the right way, and put it on

awwwwww thats a bummer - im surprised that your moms or BP didnt notice - i guess everyone was having such a good time they didnt realize! so hey, thats a good thing!

AWWW don't worry im sure it looked beautiful just the way it was!! but i do understand how you feel!!! i wanted to do my bustle myelf too just to make sure it was done right but your dress was sooo beautiful that im sure however it was bustled it looked amazing!!

well one of my strings for my bustle got ripped off somehow so anyone dancing within 5 feet of me tripped atleast once.
it reallllly su\cked, and i was so mad - my bridal attendants tried to bustle it with huge baby pins but it still couldnt hold everything up.
so i feel your pain, and i dont relaly want to see my video either.

but to tell you the truth, when i knew i couldnt do anything about it (day of) i just let it go.

i lost a tie on my bustle and my whole bustle hung thru my whole reception-it happens dont sweat it

I know you're upset. I'm sorry that your dress wasn't perfect. But I'm sure with everything going on, people weren't focusing on the bustle.

Try not to beat yourself up over it. Accidents happen.

it's ok, my mom was trying to get me into the bridal suite to fix mine for half the reception, and I didn't want to go b/c i didn't want to leave the party!! I'm sure you still looked beautiful....

Its so frustrating because the Ties were Numbered
It was the easiest thing to do, and it was done wrong

eta; i do have to get over it, but seeing the video last night, annoyed the crap out of me

yeah i know right now you feel upset but honestly i doubt anyone noticed but yourself...

that's how i felt about certain details during the wedding about my hair, cake, etc...but in the end...they were looking at a 'beautiful bride' not your bustle!!
