Got my sand ceremony items! Thought Id share (w/pics)
So I thought Id share my sand cermony items that I just got in today (everything except my darker brown sand)..love em! I didn't like any set that I saw came together online, so I put together my own little set from various places....
-COLORED SANDS, our wedding colors of course. White for officiant to lay foundation of faith, light blue for me & natural for FH, missing brown for FH's son so we can incorporate him and how we are becoming our own family. Bought from daisy days website. $7 for each 1lb bottle.
-3 TALL POURING CYLINDERS for officiant, me & FH to pour sand from. Bought from daisy-days website. $27
-1 SMALL POURING CYLINDER for FH's son. Believe it or not this was an extra that I had sitting around but never used, from a set of votive candle holders. Hey, ya gotta be creative sometimes! Previously bought from potterybarn website. 2 for $4.
-GLASS APOTHECARY JAR, engraved with names, ring image, and date (they did a great job I think!! but you can pick from a variety of images that might fit your theme, diff fonts, and write whatever you want, up to 4 lines!). We didn't like anything we saw that was open on top..how are we supposed to save this? What if it spills? We thought this was the best way to display it after the ceremony. Bought from fantasy glassworks website. Only $9.95-$13.95 depending on size!
