I'm going to Italy for my cousin's wedding this summer. I am leaving July 12th....that day will be 1 yr from my wedding day!!!!!

I have been to Italy many times. My parents were both born there and my mom has all of her family there. So as a child we went every summer. As I got older we would go every other year. I went the summer of 2005.
My family is from Calabria (southern Italy) from a small town in Catanzaro.
When I went in 2005 my cousin and her FH had just started 'talking' not even going out yet!!!! I'm so excited for her!!
ahhh its also with a 'C' i just asked him but hes sick in bed sleeping and i made him repeat himself twice till i gave up understanding him...it sounds like cosenza
Yes...Cosenza...my dad is from cosenza!! His town is called Corigliano
BTW...I hope your FH feels better!!! You didn't have to bother him!!!!

Congrats I never been there but want to go so bad. FH lived there for 3 years when he was in the military. My mom was born there.
