FH and I were in the neighborhood, so we stopped by Tri-County to scope out wedding rings... and I found mine! I wanted something kind of Art Deco and antique-looking. My engagement ring is an emerald-cut solitaire so no wedding band fits with it and I'll have to wear it on my right hand. So I wanted something kind of funky for my left. I was like hyperventilating the whole time we were paying for it and leaving... this is the ring I'll have my WHOLE LIFE! AAAAHHHH!!

Thanks! It's so different from the norm, I think. I had to go to a lot of places before I found anything like it. I'm still a little nauseated from the experience. FH is laughing at me; he's like, 'this is what I was like when I was picking out your E-ring. Except it was 100 times worse!'

The booths at Tri-County in Levittown had a lot of options. I had to search around before I found the one for me, but I found it in under an hour, and looked through 40 or 50. And I got a good price - $200 under what we had budgeted! (they'll bargain with you like crazy to get your business). I'd recommend searching there.

Aww, thanks for all the compliments, ladies.
I can't even tell you how much I was freaking out when we bought it - 45 minutes didn't seem like enough time to choose the ring I'll have forever! But you know how jewelry salespeople are, 'I can get you this price if you buy right now, and only right now...'. That's total bull, but you feel so pressured! Except, I was 95% sure I loved it. Now I'm 100%. Thanks again for the kind words, you've helped me decide that it really is the one!
