My parents wanted to buy us our everyday dinnerware set for our engagement and I found the set I wanted yesterday!! So my mom and grandma and I went to FORTUNOFF's today and got it!! They were having an awesome sale-buy one 4 piece place setting and get another @ 50% off! It's Pfaltzgraff and we got service for 8! I'm so excited-- I also had SIMON MALL Gift Certificates and I was able to get all the glasses that went with the set!! YEA!!!! too bad I have find a place to store them now!! haha
Good for you!! I have started getting things that I wanted too. For Xmas my Mom & Dad brought us a dustbuster (family joke about the dustbuster), set of sheets, tea pot and finished purchasing my crystal. As an engagement gift, FI's aunt & uncle brought us all the crystal for a set of 8.

Isnt it soExciting getting these kind of presents, Its so funny I go to the strore and look at appliances and stuff now. Im a geek. P.s. You Should see what my room looks like I have gifts everywhere UGHHH! I cant even move and I haveto wait till june 04 to move it all

I not only have that, I also have other little things that my family, FILs and others gave us. I also have all the stuff for the wedding. I tell everyone that I am living out of shopping bags until next year.

I know! me too!! I have so many gifts in my room which is not big @ all!! we're going to have to transfer some stuff to my grandma's or my aunt's house!! I never in a million years thought I would get excited over home stuff!! it's so much fun!!

Thank you! That's why I like it too-I LOVE simple- yet classy-Plus we don't know what apartment we are going to get and what the colors might be in the kitchen-ya know?
It is so hard to register!! I think we are going to wait awhile to register for the big stuff-because of fear of discontinuation (sp???) or change of taste!

FH and I just registered, but only for stuff that either wont get discontinued, or stuff that is not part of a set... we registered for a lot of cooking stuff, mixers, pots and pans, that kind of stuff. We are waiting to closer to the wedding to put stuff like dishes on.. we are worried we will get half our settings and then it will be discontinued.
Registering is so much fun!!! I would start it even if you don't fill it up right away!!

thanks meghan! I was glad to see that you registered because you are getting married a month before me! We registered @ TARGET and put all of the small appliances and stuff on it-that stuff will always be around- like u said! I can't believe I am admitting this, but I had to take my mom back without FH to add the small apliances and stuff because we had NO CLUE and FH was just playing around with the gun and aiming it @ OREOS and such items in TARGET! so we left him home and I went with my mom!!! LOL How pathetic am I???
