What a pain! Avoid Queens court house if you can- it took 2 hours and 1 of them was outside in the rain But its done!
And we met with the priest- he's really old- he was my high school priest and kept mispronoucing our names so we are a little worried but we figured too late to worry about it. He's really funny and sweet though.
Finally we are all set- tonight we meet with the owner of the restaurant for the rehersal dinner and that's it! Whew- these visits to NY to cram in wedding stuff is exhausting- I can't wait until this is over!!!!

We got ours yesterday. Babylon Town Hall was so quick. I am sorry that you had to go through two hours of that!! But at least you have your license. No turning back now!

We got ours yesterday at Hempstead Town Hall....It literally took 15 min...It was so excited sitting there having them fill out the form (ah I'm SUCH a dork)

We went to Queens court house too. We were there for over 2 hours to.

You can get it 60 days before and it becomes valid 24 hours after you get it

Sorry it took so long! We got ours in Manhasset, and it took about twenty minutes, no more.

We got ours on Wednesday in Manhasset and it was so quick. As a matter of fact, we did it during my one hour lunch break. I work in Lake Success and was not late going back to work.
