Got the bagpiper

Yippee - He'll play during the salad course for 20 minutes (no one would be dancing anyway)
I wanted the end of the night, but I would have had to end the band 15 minutes early to have him play

YEAH!!! We just booked ours for the church!!!

I asked him how much to play @ the reception for 15 min & he gave me a high price. So that's out!

Did you hear him play before you booked? The only thing i worry about is that they are not great. I have heard some mediocre pipers and am a little scared. I am however really looking for someone to play at our ceremony.

can anyone fm me just the price of how much it will cost so i know if we can afford one or not?? (instead of talking to them and gettign my heart set on it but then having to ax it!!)

That is nice- I was just at a wedding where he played as they were coming out of church. It was really pretty!

Don't know about other bagpipers but Kevin quoted me for $150 to play for the half hour before the ceremony and after the ceremony as we receive the guests outside the church. I thought it was reasonable, and I don't have to pay him until the day of so if I hear he's not great, I can cancel. But from what Sunny says, he sounded good at the wedding she heard him at.
