Got the CALL!!!!
Technically, I called them. It's only three weeks until the wedding, and I was really starting to panic that my dress wasn't in. We booked this wedding date in December, and it took me some weeks to decide on the gown I wanted, and to find the best price. (Also, Christmas was in there, so I didn't have a lot of time for gown shopping.) So I didn't order the gown until the first week of January, and they told me it would be in the first week of May, no problem, I didn't need to do rush shipping. Well, then, the first week of May passed. No call. I called a week ago, on Saturday, and they said it would be any day. Days passed, no call. I'm beginning to panic, but tried not to let anyone see. Finally I called today and they said it arrived last night! Woo hoo! Unfortunately, I can't go today--can't really drive myself as I had a medical procedure on Wednesday and I don't trust myself to drive yet, and the only person who can take me on such short notice is FH, and that's not happening! ![]()
So my mom's going to take me on Monday after work, they're open late. Whew! I'm SO relieved. I can't wait to see it. I hope it fits! I got a size that was a little tight, and I did lose a couple of pounds. We'll see. It's easy to take in a dress, not so easy to let it out.
