I'm totally procrastinating. at this point I don't want to order it online in case it comes in and i don't like it... so I will hopefully get to Barron's this weekend. I have my first fitting sat so I can also look at the dress shop. we'll see.

In case of some miracle and I do find the original veil, I will SO reach out to you....
The veil my mom got from Philippines is not Mantilla, it actually looks like the future mrs m's veil (check out her wedding pics on BHB)
In fact, my mom brought back so much hand embroidered material, I may have enough for THREE veils. I'm going to Bridal Veil Falls down in the east village and the lady is going to put the final touches to it.
Can't wait to see what you choose! So exciting, first fitting! You're going to look

oh okay sorry i confused it probably with your other on. i love that your mom brought it back for you - so nice to have something from your heritage. Literally out all the stuff i got for my shower my favorites were still all the things that my grandmothers made because they are so typical italian style and I'm glad I'll have some of that (since FH is so NOT italian ). I think that will be beautiful - can't wait to see it!

I'm a little freaked. I ordered shoes from L&T - they are okay. Gold, small heel, not cheesy. I'm not in love with them but whatever - as long as they are right with my dress!

I'll take pics on saturday - the one from the website is kind of gross, they look really dark. They are nina shoes with a 2 inch heel in like a matte gold. they were SO cheap... I'm still looking just in case

Go, go, go. I heard it's amazing and run by a sweet lady. And I heard it's not pricy. I think it may be up your alley. Not too far from NYU, further east. I think it's worth for you to check it out. You should try and go before Saturday.
