Got the Wine Glasses I wasn't expecting - should I return them?

Just got a shipment of 8 wine glasses off of my registry. Someone else already got us 8 water goblets, and I bought the other 4, so I have 12 water goblets already. I don't think I have space for 8 wine glasses and 12 water goblets, and do i *need* all of that crystal? I almost feel like if I'm gonna have only one it should be the wine glasses, BUT I already broke down the boxes the water goblets came into and took off all the stickers. And they weren't bought off of my registry, they were bought at another store. So I don't think I can return them. But I do have the packing slip.

But if I return the wine glasses, I could splurge on something else.

But I will be serving wine pretty much everytime I use the china, and so wine glasses would be better for that than water goblets. And a GM bought them for us - granted, with a girlfriend he just broke up with.

Why did I register for so much stuff??!!!

my FH and i already own a home, so we have lots of stuff.... we also love wine, so when we reg. for our crystal, we reg. for all different types of wine glasses 6 of each- chardonay, savingnon blanc, burgandy, etc. (we did reg. for i think 10 chardonay b/c they are versitile -why dont you return some of the water glasses and keep the wine?!

Wow, I didn't know there were so many different kinds of wine GLASSES out there! I thought it was basically one size fits all.

i would keep all as not to often anymore. my luck i would have the people over to dinner that gave me the presents ans they would be inquiring about them lol

i say keep them, and if you dont' have room for them right now, put them into storage in case you have a lot of people over one day, or in case any of them break!

we were advised to wine glasses and water goblets also. I think we did the wine, iced beverage (which is acceptable for any liquid) and 4 champane flutes b/c we don't drink champagne. Honestly, if they are roughly the same size, you could use wine glasses for water.
