They win ONE game after their 200 million dollar payroll gets swept badly, and all of a sudden they've 'turned it around' and want to jump on us and call us losers.

1. It's one game
2. They beat THE DEVIL RAYS!!!

Yeah Yeah Yeah, we should know all about losing

Strike up the bandwagon the rats are coming back out to play

Wow, I missed quite an interesting turn of events here on this thread!

Still wondering why the Mets fans aren't congratulating themselves on their team actually playing WELL rather than debating the pros and cons of the Yankees.. *shrug* Is it THAT BORING in Metsland that you cannot talk about your team

But wait, the Mets fans on these boards have their cross to bear anyhow so I'll cut 'em some slack

Oh wait - me bad ... Mets fans ARE talking about other things aside from teh Yankees.. They are talking about HOW CUTE their players are... isn't that special!!

Wow...i just saw this thread now. I just came on here to cheer with my fellow met fans about last night! I was so p*ssed that I forgot to even listen to the game!!

Oh, and a pet peeve of mine is when people like baseball players or teams just b/c they're hot. I had a college roommate who was rooting for the yanks in the '00 world series b/c Derek Jeter had a nice a s s!!!
