GOTW QOTD 12/17

With the holidays coming up... What is the best or most interesting gift you have gotten from your FW/FH? Ladies your engagement rings don't count...

For me I would say and Colleen wouldn't agree was a sound machine for you to fall asleep too... When we first started dating I was working midnight to eight AM everyday... When I got home I couldn't fall asleep so for valentines day I believe she got me a sound machine that plays soothing sounds for you to fall asleep too... Now to be honest I've used it twice because these sounds are like the ocean, waterfall, rainfall... Always made me wake up and go to the bathroom... But it was the sweetest most thoughtful gift she's gotten me...

my favrorite gift i got from Jonn i think has to be my Ipod Touch. i love it and i use it every day so i really get my use out of it.

i have to say its in a small box and he played it off that it was a botle of perfume because it was wrapped. i had asked him for the ipod and he told me he didnt get it. i was kind of disappointed because i got perfume th eyear before. and then i opened it and it was my ipod yay!!

i know this may sound a little corny seeing that I'm a guy... but the best gift Jackie ever got me was 3-fold. on my 30th birthday.

1. she threw me a party in the backyard with all my friends. we proceeded to play beer pong until i decided to attempt to tackle my friend, but missed and went crashing threw a mini table. that was fun.

2. Jackie bought me tickets to Yankee game IN Baltimore. we were 8 rows behind the plate. when the Yankees were on deck, you could actually HEAR them spit. we were that close. A-Rod was sitting on 499 home runs, so the place went crazy everytime he came up. the flashbulbs were out of control. that was also the game where they had to finish the last 2 innings of a game from a few weeks before.excellent weekend!!!

3. the best of all!!! Jackie made me a scrap book. it was pictures and neat little things. she left pages open for all my friends to write whatever they pleased. it was actually really cool. explaining this book is doing it no justice. you would have to see it. i love it to death!!!

This past April for our 5th Anniversary FH got me the david yurman ring with my birthstone that I had wanted. It was really unexpected because I had never told him I wanted it. I guess he had seen me looking at it on the computer a couple times and he knew i wanted a garnet ring...so he surprised me with it

although...i was sort of disappointed when he gave me a ring box on our anniversary and it wasn't 'The Ring'....hehe...oh well my e-ring was worth the wait

I honestly cant think of the best gift he has ever gotten me...Anything I even think that I might want he runs out and gets me. Last year it was the chocolate uggs that he went crazy trying to find AND tickets to go see 'how the grinch stole christmas' on broadway. Seeing the play last year was SO much fun, we went into the city, saw the show in the second row center along with thousands of little kids around us, then went to Juniors and had burgers, grilled cheese and fries. It was alot of fun and it really was memorable.

ANYway, The best gift FH ever got me (besides the ring... Gosh Brian, trying to steal all the fun out of it ) Was a digital camera. I really REALLY REALLY wanted one, but I don't spend money on that kind of stuff. So, he got me that and my FAVORITE movies on DVD. It was so thoughtful!

Hmm that's a tough questions, best gift I ever got from FH was last Xmas, it took me on a little romantic getaway to Mystic, CT and booked me with the Penguin Contact Program. I got to sit in a room with a penguin for an hour and learn about them, hear their heartbeat, touch their fins and toes. It was just amazing. I am a penguin freak.

Tom is the same way. When I say I want or like somthing he buys it.

I will say for my bday a few years ago I had a pic of princess cut diamond studs that i was dieing for on the fridge and he said he couldnt afford them for my bday and so on my bday he gave me a bunch of little things and a white teddy bear with snowflakes on it and i hugged it and i said thanks i love you and he was like ummmmm you might want to look closer and i didnt get it she said look at the bear closely so i inspected it and there were my diamond studs in teddys ears!! i was so happy I cried.

He also for now reason at all bought me a tiffany bracelet to match a necklace i had and i was showering with the door unlocked he pretended to come in to get somthing and when i got out there was a tiffany box all wrapped up that said I love you! it was amazing

The most interesting gift was an aquariaum...with no fish. I didnt get fish until about 6 months later. Then they died.

That is a great game... I was tempted to buy this at target last time I was there... I used to play that and hot dog stand!

i tried looking for the original oregon trail for months... couldnt find it anywhere.

Brian... i know, i am a big mush and i like corny things... but i feel that if i warn people before hand that it's corny, then all is right. lol
