GOTW QOTD 12/19

What will the couples be doing with their last names? Are you going to be traditional and take the grooms? Hyphenate?

Colleen has said that she will be taking my last name...

I'll be taking his name.

His last name begins with a 'C' and my last name now also begins with 'C' so I'll still have the same initials

yea it will be nice to have a name people can pronounce correctly...alllllll my life people say it wrong...its so annoying.
but im not gonna lie....i think it'll be a little upsetting at first...its like the person i was for 28 years will just disappear and i will have a new identity...kinda scary

I like this question - since I am a bit of a traditionalist - I am going to take the FH last name. Its going to take a bit to get used to a new last name though!

i always planned on taking my husbands last name but now I don't want to...

I like my last name better:(..its so much simpler!....i tried to get him to take mine but he's not really into that haha

I will end up taking it but its gonna be hard to get used to...

ok...call me a bad fw...I am thinking i might keep my last name...It might be a bit selfish to think this way, but there is a reason and i just dont want to get into it on the boards....

Its understandable you see this a lot more now, I wouldnt force Colleen to take my name she has just said she wants to...
