Gourmet Chocolate Apples?

Ladies, I aksed a few months back about places that sell gourmet chocolate apples, you know like a Mrs. Prindables. We really want these as our favors.

I was just wondering if anyone know a local vendor that makes these? I am a little fearful about ordering on-line. Not knowing the conditions that they will be shipped in or what they may look like when the get to me. I would rather go to a local vendor to buy them.

Does anyone know anybody who makes/sells these? Any other suggestions??

TIA

What about Stew Leonards ?
Closest NY store is in Yonkers.

you can also try
Lazar's Chocolates in Bay Terrace, Bayside
5th Avenue Chocolatier,
any specialty chocolate shops, not a chain like Godiva or Lindt

Thanks ladies!!

I never thought of Stews!! I am going to stop there later on my way home!

I also just called a place in Scarsdale, called Enjou Chocolatiers!! So keep you fingers crossed for me!
