gown alteration places

i have to bring my gown from FL to get my alterations done but I have no idea where to go for them! i would have felt safer going with the boutique I bought it from but going back and forth to FL these next couple of months is just not in the budget!

HELP!

I had the same issue. Dress purchased in Florida, alterations up here.

I am using Tanyas fine european tailoring in Sayville, she does amazing work and was WAY more reasonable than the bridal salons I went to, since there was no alteration cap

I am researching this as well because I purchased my dress in CT and want to get it altered in LI. I've heard great things about the alterations department at Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point. I haven't spoken with them yet, but it is my understanding that you can have your gown altered there even if you didn't purchase through them.

good question since I need to find a place to alter the BM dress I am wearing in my cousins wedding in Aug and I refuse to use David's Bridal.

If it helps, my experience with Tanya has been fantastic. I am paying $235 to shorten the dress, the bustle, pressing and letting out seams. I have had several fittings, and each time something else was done, but you wouldn't have noticed there was a difference unless you knew what it was like before.
